The journal was established in 2025 through MEDPRENEURSHIP™, an evolving global ecosystem focused on education, research, innovation, leadership, and venture development in medicine and healthcare.
Journal of Medical Entrepreneurship (JOME)™ was created to address a longstanding gap within academic medicine. While healthcare innovation, digital health, biotechnology, medical technology, and physician-led ventures continue to grow rapidly, there remains limited scholarly infrastructure dedicated specifically to the science, education, frameworks, and professional development of medical entrepreneurship.
The journal seeks to provide a rigorous academic platform where physicians, surgeons, healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, founders, innovators, institutional leaders, and policy experts can contribute to the advancement of this growing discipline.
Development Status
Journal of Medical Entrepreneurship (JOME)™ has been under structured development since 2025.
During this period, substantial efforts have focused on establishing the journal’s academic foundation, editorial structure, scope, governance framework, publication strategy, digital infrastructure, advisory network, curriculum concepts, and long-term scholarly vision.
The journal is currently in the final stages of organizational development and preparation prior to formal launch.
